標準型油圧式パワーショベル。住友建機の他社に対する優位性を、造形として表現するためにコンセプト開発を行った。カウンターウェイト（後部おもり）を大きく円弧で削ぎ落とす「アークライン」造形が、堅牢さと運動性の良さを表現し、アイデンティティを確立している。
Standard hydraulic power shovel. The concept was developed to express Sumitomo Construction Machinery's superiority over other companies in the form of modeling. The "arc line" modeling, in which the counterweights (rear weights) are cut off in a large arc, expresses robustness and mobility and establishes the identity of the machine.
