209系からE231系へと続いてきた新系列通勤型車両の山手線専用車両。都心の風景を創出する新しい通勤車両を目指してデザインを行った。時代に対応する情報ディスプレイなどを配置したインテリアデザインは、現在の通勤車両につながるベーシックなサービス内容として提案。
The new series of commuter railcars, which followed the Series 209 to the Series E231, are dedicated to the Yamanote Line. The design was created with the aim of creating a new commuter train that creates a landscape in the heart of the city. The interior design, with information displays and other displays that correspond to the times, was proposed as a basic service content connected to current commuter trains.
