新潟・庄内の食と景観を楽しむ観光列車。４両編成の新造ディーゼルハイブリッド車両で、沿線の特徴である「夕陽」をキーワードに風景と一体になる体験を創るデザインとした。風景や光を映し込むインテリアデザインと沿線の新しい景観を創出するエクステリアデザインが実現した。
A sightseeing train to enjoy the food and scenery of Niigata and Shonai, the four-car diesel hybrid train was designed to create an experience of becoming one with the scenery with the keyword "sunset," which is a characteristic of the train line. The interior design reflects the scenery and light, and the exterior design creates a new landscape along the train line.
