「蓄電池駆動電車システム」を日本で初めて営業運転車両として採用した新型通勤車両。先進的な車両システムを表現した前頭デザインや、客室内の長手方向に前方から後方まで切れ目なくつながる新設計のLED光源によるインテリアの間接照明などにより、環境対応と新世代のデザインイメージの融合を目指したデザインとした。
This new commuter train is the first train in Japan to adopt the "Storage Battery Driven Train System" for commercial operation. The design aims to combine environmental friendliness with a new-generation design image through a frontal design that expresses the advanced train system, and interior indirect lighting with a newly designed LED light source that connects from the front to the rear without a break in the longitudinal direction of the passenger compartment.
